Others

Eye flow.

Leading someone down a path or ruite on a picture to keep interest.

Balanced picture. Evewn both sides for a simplistic appeal.

Diagonal rule

Diagonal Rule.

Used to flow with the photo and change the photo to make it become more interesting through a different angle.

shots

Rule of thirds.

This is when we only use one third of the potential photograph on one cleare image whilst leaving the remaining two thirds different.
An example of this is this bird. It clearly uses roughly around a third of the size of the photo to give it a clear distinction but leaves room for other objects.

Plemininary task: Conventions

These website format differ from the orginal convensions of layout and colours on the wbsites. The use of interactive hyperlinked website pictures and format layout could benefit a website as a new and exciting way forward in web design or be un successful with its approach and result in fewer views.

Here is a website which benefits this new approach of web design.
This mtv website has many interative features such as hyperlinked pictures and updated info on the home page. This makes a good website format as it still carries the traits of a normal webpage including a search and nav bar. As this does not loose the origianl web formal it modernises the website to fit with its target audience.

Another website which uses the intractive approach if the food for thought website. This captures a 21st century take on website design. This website aims to make a boring websitew about food interesting realising its audience aimed at ( children) enjoy the interactive side of reading a taking part on the site than just reading the information.

Creating a website which goes against the typical layour anf formal can be a success.Like above these websites can draw more viewers than other websites as they capture a different side of website formatting and creates a modernistic way to capture info without following other websites.

Colour combinations

The colours are important as some you may want to contrast diving important info a clear view, whilst other colours should be blended together to give an other all smooth, clean effect to each website. An important factor to consider is the way your website attracts viewers. The more interesting the better as these signs of something different create an interesting website clashing and combining colours to create an overall intersting affect.

TRIAD COLOURS- Used with combinations of bright colours to give a colourful web page.Colous show on other post below.

Analog colours-Lie on the other side of the wheel.Often in nature and harmonius.

Complementary colours- contrasting colours which stand out in the crowd!Help distinguish normal and important content on a website.
split complementary colours- This gives a high degree of contrast within a website and is used for great harmony as it doesn't give a high level of contrast, giving more variation on screen.

Ideal Nav Bar

After colouring and creating a successful hyperlinked nav bar it should look something like this. After creating the basic shape and hyperlinks i will make the colour fit with the colour of the website.

Middle and Bottom of nav bar

Thia is the middle and bottom of my nav bar.As it is not yet looking attractive i have yet to add colour and the other hyperlinks. This basic Nav bar helps people around the web site and is affective whilst searching around the website.

Nav Bar creation

Top of the nav bar working my way down towards the bottom.First Makign a Home hyperlink for my pages to link together on each page.
